“The Minus-Zero Lens!”

In "The Minus-Zero Lens!", a 1978 Alan Class gem, the charlatan Cosmo Filch offers dubious counsel to Marius Dodd, who claims to be weighed down by the wrath of the sea god Ekali after stealing a sacred diamond. As Filch convinces Dodd the burden is purely psychological and takes the gem in hand, the tables turn in a chilling twist. Written by Greg Olivetti and illustrated with eerie precision by Ogden Whitney—both inks and pencils on the cover—this issue delivers a classic tale of guilt, deception, and the price of greed.
