Creature Commandos #4

Issue four of this 2000 DC limited series puts the Creature Commandos front and center in chaotic, kinetic fashion — a grinning, heavily built central figure dominates the composition, clutching what appears to be a metallic sphere while surrounded by a werewolf-like creature, a horned beast, a small blue figure, and armed soldiers all surging across a blazing yellow-orange background. The tagline "He's doing his part, are you doing yours?" gives the whole cover a bold, almost propaganda-poster energy that suits this team of monstrous soldiers perfectly. Scot Eaton's pencils and Ray Kryssing's inks bring real muscle and momentum to the lineup, making this installment of Tim Truman's run a visually striking entry in the series.
