Creature Commandos #3

The Creature Commandos charge forward on this July 2000 cover, "Ready to Serve!" — a battle-hardened squad that includes a fierce red-haired woman in blue armor at the center, flanked by soldiers, a hulking creature, a goggled beast, and a cyborg-armed figure, all surging out of a fiery explosion. It's a muscular, densely packed composition from cover penciler Scot Eaton and cover inker Tim Truman that makes the team feel genuinely dangerous. Issue #3 carries the story "Dead Center-- Deep as Death," promising that this unconventional unit still has plenty of fight left in them.
