Crazy Magazine #92

Marvel's long-running humor magazine hits issue #92 with a cover by Bob Larkin that skewers one of 1982's biggest pop-culture moments — three painted figures unmistakably spoofing Star Trek's Spock, McCoy, and Kirk, with Spock scanning a tiny, bewildered clown and McCoy delivering his famous line, only for the whole crew to nervously ask "Did we give away the ending?" It's a wonderfully self-aware gag that sets the tone for a 64-page all-new issue promising plenty more satirical mischief inside. With Mary Wilshire handling writing, art, inking, and lettering on the interior story "The Ghost Gives Up," this is a genuinely fun snapshot of Marvel's comedic side at full swing.
