Marvel's humor magazine lives up to its tagline — "The Magazine That Dares to Be Dumb" — with this delightfully unhinged 1982 cover by Bob Larkin, depicting a menacing clown armed with a flamethrower cheerfully asking a terrified, fleeing caveman, "Did I hear a re-quest for fire?" A tiny hatching dragon in the corner adds one more absurd detail to an already gloriously ridiculous scene. Inside, Mary Wilshire handles writing, art, inking, and lettering for "Life with Television," making this a wonderfully offbeat slice of early-'80s Marvel comedy.
