“The Initiation!”
About this Collection

This volume collects the final chapters of the original Coyote series, continuing the surreal and often dark adventures of the titular character as he navigates a world of magic, corporate intrigue, and cosmic forces. Written by Steve Englehart and illustrated by Steve Leialoha, this edition brings together the concluding storylines that define the series' unique blend of fantasy and social commentary.

In "The Initiation!", Tony Coyne steps into a legacy he never asked for, confronting the ruthless Ali Pasha and the ancient Djinn after a brutal clash that reshapes his fate. Written by Englehart and illustrated by Ditko, with inks by Nichols, colors by Scotese, and letters by Orzechowski, this pivotal issue sees Tony claim his destiny in a story that redefines power, vengeance, and the cost of becoming a new kind of warrior. The cover, a striking collaboration by Todd McFarlane and Chas Truog with inks by McFarlane and Frank Springer, captures the moment of transformation with haunting intensity.
