Cowboy Western Comics #24

This issue features two main stories: "Joel McCrea," a tale in which a character agrees to drive a stage coach for Butler, only to be kidnapped and forced into silence after discovering Butler's criminal scheme, with Butler eventually captured by law enforcement. The second story, "The Vigilantes" (subtitled "The Frame Up"), focuses on a ranching group called the Vigilantes who protect their rights during the lawless era of the West; Sheriff Perkins organizes a posse to recover stolen goods from bandits, and the story involves pursuit and confrontation in a remote desert location. An additional humorous segment features a character singing "Good Mornin' Denver" while dealing with romantic complications involving a woman named Sandy Dunns and matters of gold.
