Godlewski's linework captures both the menace and the raw physicality of the image, with Ron Riley's muted, dusty tones reinforcing the gritty frontier atmosphere the series does so well. Copperhead #8 makes a strong case that this corner of the Image 2015 lineup has plenty of teeth left to show.
