John Constantine lies sprawled and bloodied on a rain-slicked cobblestone street, a ghostly white smoke curling away from his body — a striking image that raises far more questions than it answers. The tagline "Dead in the Streets…" frames this unsettling cover by Juan José Ryp with just the right amount of dread. Writers Jeff Lemire and Ray Fawkes, with artist Renato Guedes, were clearly not pulling punches in the New 52 reimagining of DC's favorite occult con man.
