"Superstitious Sweetheart" tells of a woman who, unable to forget her former boyfriend after five years, consults fortune teller the Great Galucci, who predicts she will meet her man within thirty days and marry him by April 16th. She encounters a man named Anthony at a social gathering and believes he is her destined love, but learns he is actually a congressman—not the man she was seeking. "Dangerous Woman" follows a man who becomes enchanted with a beautiful woman at the opera and believes he has fallen in love at first sight, though he struggles with his overwhelming attraction to this stranger and his sense that pursuing her would be dishonorable.

Superstitious Sweetheart
12 pp · Romance

Lily Clinton's superstitions keep her isolated—until she literally runs into Bud Hollis beneath a ladder, and their connection sparks instantly. As their romance blossoms and they discover they share the same charms and omens, their guardians' schemes to push them toward wealthier matches threaten to tear them apart. "Superstitious Sweetheart" is a tender tale of whether luck—and love—can overcome the obstacles standing in their way.

Watch the Things You Say!
1 pp

A young woman who's found her perfect match learns that careless words spoken in the heat of the moment can threaten everything she's built—and that watching what you say during romance's delicate early stages may be the difference between "happily ever after" and watching him walk out the door. This cautionary tale shows how thoughtless remarks about money, appearance, and past relationships can snowball into misunderstandings that no amount of backpedaling can repair.

What's Your Romantic I.Q?
5 pp · Romance

Three young women arrive at a summer hotel hoping for romance, but their luck changes when the charming bachelor Anthony Brent checks in—only to find that his romantic prospects depend less on beauty or brilliance alone than on something harder to pin down. As Nell's ignorance and Margo's intellectual superiority each fail to win him over, Lucy takes a different approach, proving that the real key to a man's heart might be something altogether more balanced. A lighthearted look at what it really takes to find love, from the pages of *Confessions of the Lovelorn*.

Don't Have False Standards!
1 pp

Heidi's set her sights on one thing and one thing only: finding a handsome man, no matter what other qualities he might bring to the table. When she finally lands the good-looking guy of her dreams after turning down some genuinely wonderful men along the way, she discovers that appearances don't tell the whole story—and by then, it might be too late to fix her mistake.

Dangerous Woman
7 pp · Romance

A young diplomat named Joe Landry falls hard for a mysterious woman he spots at the opera in Paris, and after a chance reunion during Bastille Night celebrations, they begin a secret romance filled with clandestine meetings and unanswered questions. But when Janine insists on keeping her life entirely hidden and Joe's professional world collides with his personal one at an international conference, a shocking revelation threatens to tear them apart. What unfolds is a tense game of trust, espionage, and the collision between duty and desire.
