Conan the Avenger #15

Part three of "Xuthal of the Dusk" arrives with a cover by Eric Powell that puts Conan front and center — sword raised, muscles tensed, dark hair flying — as massive green tentacles coil around him and an enormous, unsettling eye looms from the stonework behind. Fred Van Lente's script and Guiu Vilanova's art continue this Robert E. Howard adaptation, with Michael Atiyeh's colors lending the whole thing a rich, eerie green atmosphere that makes the lurking horror feel genuinely threatening. If you've been following this arc, issue #15 is exactly the kind of visceral, tension-filled chapter the cover promises.
