Conan the Avenger #11
Issue eleven of Conan the Avenger brings us deep into "The Damned Horde, Part Five," with a cover by Jason Felix that plunges Conan into a world of fire and ruin. The Cimmerian stands battle-ready at center, sword raised and red cloak whipping behind him, while armored demonic figures loom from the flames on either side — the pressure of the horde bearing down from all angles. Fred Van Lente's story, brought to life by artist Brian Ching and colorist Michael Atiyeh, promises the kind of sword-and-sorcery intensity that makes this 2015 Dark Horse run such a satisfying visit to the Hyborian Age.
