Marking Conan the Barbarian's 60th anniversary in style, this Special King Issue from Marvel's December 1992 run packs two complete stories — "Conan Battles the King of the Lost City" and "King Kull Must Die" — into one oversized package. Joe Chiodo's cover painting sets the tone beautifully: a muscle-bound Conan grapples with a massive, snarling ape-like creature, dagger raised high, while a fallen woman lies at their feet against a desolate rocky landscape. It's a vivid showcase of sword-and-sorcery adventure, with Roy Thomas writing and Gil Kane providing the interior art.
