Conan el Bárbaro #29
This volume collects Conan el Bárbaro #39, part of Planeta DeAgostini's Spanish-language reprint series of the classic Marvel Comics run. It continues the adventures of Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian warrior, featuring sword-and-sorcery tales from the original 1980s series.
Conan the Barbarian #29 (1984) features the titular warrior in a tale titled "¡Los hijos del dios oso!" from the Planeta DeAgostini edition. The issue was written by Roy Thomas, Norvell Page, Ángeles Aledo, and Monserrat Carracedo, with artwork by John Buscema, inks by Ernie Chan, and coloring by George Roussos. The cover was penciled by John Buscema and inked by Jack Abel.
In "¡Los hijos del dios oso!", Conan and Jo are driven into the wild grasslands by Shemite forces, where they encounter a band of enslaved Aesirs, including the warrior Niord. When a group of dwarves attacks, Conan fights back—only to face the wrath of their bear-god as the last of the dwarves die screaming.
