Conan the Barbarian #124 (1987) features the story "El rescate," with Conan and a group of allies navigating a perilous mission. The issue was written by James C. Owsley, Beatriz Oberlander, and Amparo Úbeda, illustrated by Val Semeiks, and inked by Geof Isherwood, with coloring by George Roussos. The cover, also by Semeiks and Isherwood, depicts Conan in a dramatic, action-oriented scene.
