Conan the Barbarian #123 (1987) features the story "¡Ojo por ojo! [2]" with Conan as the central figure, continuing his adventures in the Hyborian Age. The issue was written by James C. Owsley, Beatriz Oberlander, and Amparo Úbeda, with art by Ernie Chan, who also handled the inks, and coloring by Julianna Ferriter. In "¡Ojo por ojo! [2]," Conan is hired by Richel to track down the thief Narada and recover stolen gold, but the trail leads to a web of betrayal and a deadly illness spreading among those who’ve crossed Narada. When Tolkhan, abandoned by Narada, joins Conan in pursuit, the two uncover a sinister conspiracy—Richel has engineered the plague and murdered Narada to manipulate the hunt. As the truth unfolds, Conan must confront the architect of the scheme and find a cure for Tolkhan before it’s too late.
In "¡La reina de corazones! [3]," Sonja, Math, Alain, and their son Kynon journey into frozen peril to rescue Branwyn from the ice queen’s grasp. With the queen’s deadly command echoing—Cavalok must kill Branwyn, believing her to be Sonja, and bring back her heart—the group races against time through treacherous terrain, where loyalty and courage will be tested as fiercely as the winter winds.
