Conan: Death Covered in Gold #1
In "Golden Shadows," Conan crosses paths with Silus and his daughter Marni in the dusty town of Khorala, where a long-forgotten gold mine holds more than just treasure. When Silus hires Conan as a bodyguard for the dangerous dig, the journey into Ororium’s depths quickly turns deadly—first with ambushes, then with a monstrous worm that strikes without warning. With Roy Thomas scripting and John Buscema’s legendary art bringing the savage world to life, this first issue of *Conan: Death Covered in Gold* sets a grim, relentless tone. Geof Isherwood and Scott Hanna’s cover captures the tale’s shadowed, perilous mood.
