Conan, now a Zingarian buccaneer, commands a ship he seized from Zaparavo after their ordeal on the island of the Black Giants. When his vessel is ambushed by the nobleman Heronan Da Varza, his lover Sancha finds herself torn between her loyalty to Conan and the chance to return home with Da Varza. Their fate hinges on a mysterious ship said to carry a lost treasure—though what it truly holds is far more dangerous than gold.
