In "Raktavashis dotter!", Conan follows the trail of two Aquilonian mercenaries, Ormon and Pembrok, to a distant city where he reunites with Nafertari—once a slave, now revered as the divine Zabibi, daughter of the god Raktavashi. As forces converge on her—mercenaries seeking a reward, a priest eager to rid himself of her, and a mysterious mountain spirit—Conan finds himself caught in a storm of faith, fate, and fury.

In "Nitocris hämnd," Conan crosses paths with the mysterious Rosina and her mother Sabbatha, both entangled with ancient magical relics—the cursed Diamond of Nitocris and the sentient Crystal Conclave. When the sorcerers Stornella and Valvaxier seize Rosina and the artifacts to enact a dark ritual, Conan must navigate a deadly web of magic and vengeance, where the statues themselves may hold the key to survival.
