In "Raktavashis dotter!", Conan crosses paths with the mysterious Sabbatha and her daughter Rosina, both eerily bound to ancient magical relics—the diamond of the legendary queen Nitocris and the living Crystal Conclave figurines. As the sorcerers Stornella and Valvaxier seize the artifacts in a bid to reshape destiny, Conan and Rosina must fight to survive when the statues themselves awaken with a will of their own. Written by Roy Thomas and Henrik Hårdråde, with art by Alfredo Alcala and E. R. Cruz, and a cover by Vince Evans, this 1997 tale blends myth, magic, and peril in a story rooted in the dark legacy of Stygia.

En gång i tiden lät översteprästen Kha Semblor mörda Stygiens konung och blev i sin tur dödad av kungens syster Nitocris. Hundratals år senare träffar Conan på häxan Sabbatha och hennes dotter Rosina, som bägge verkar ohälsosamt knutna till några magiska föremål, diamanten Nitocris tår och miniatyrfigurerna som kallas Kristallkonklaven. Rosina och föremålen blir tagna av syskonen och magikerna Stornella och Valvaxier, som planerar att byta ut Stygiens drottning mot Stornella genom sin magi. Kristallfigurerna får eget liv och Conan och Rosina klarar sig med nöd och näppe ut det hela levande.
