With the sorcerer Kulan-Gath seeking to revive her from her tomb beneath Suckarnas sjö, Conan and Elric must unite against Xiombarg’s army and the cursed prins Gaynor den fördömde—before the ancient power stirs once more.

In "Den gröna kejsarinnan," Conan and Elric ride toward the sunken city of Yagala, where they face off against the treacherous Queen Xiombarg, the cursed Prince Gaynor, the sorcerer Kulan-Gath, and the enigmatic Queen Terhali. When the tide of battle turns against them, the cosmic lord Arkyn takes possession of Zephra’s body to confront Terhali, but the cost proves too great—Zephra dies in the process. Elric returns to his own realm, while Conan carries Zephra’s body back to her father, Zukala.
