In "Fruktans dal," Conan and Jo find themselves among a primitive mountain tribe when Jo is abducted by a mysterious winged creature. The being, the last of its kind, lives in a tower surrounded by carnivorous flowers, and Conan must rally a herd of mammoths to scale the fortress and confront the beast before it’s too late.

In the corrupt city of Korinth, Conan teams up with the thief Burgun, only to see him captured and hanged by the treacherous priest Aron. As vengeance unfolds, Conan confronts the man who betrayed them, while a celestial force—manifesting as a star-god—descends to claim its due. Jenna leaves Conan for Igon, and the divine entity vanishes back into the stars after the priest’s death.

In "Det oheliga förbundet," Conan finds himself betrayed by Jenna, who sides with her lover Igon, leaving the barbarian imprisoned. While in chains, he’s approached by the nobleman Murilo, who offers freedom in exchange for assassinating the Red Priest Nabonidus. With no time to waste, Conan escapes and sets out on a brutal path of vengeance—tracking down those who wronged him, including Jenna and Igon.
