This 1981 West German anthology presents "Mississippi River," a story crafted by the celebrated team of writer Jean-Michel Charlier and artist Jean Giraud, whose linework also graces the cover. Published by Volksverlag as part of their Comics für Erwachsene series, this issue brings a distinctly European sensibility to adult comics readers. With coloring by Isabelle Beaumenay-Joannet and lettering adapted by Marianne Nuß, it's a fine example of the Franco-Belgian tradition reaching German-speaking audiences in the early 1980s.
