☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis volume collects the first story arc of DC's Codename: Knockout, a satirical spy-fi series that follows the adventures of Angela, a super-spy with a mysterious past. The Devil You Say introduces readers to her world of espionage, double-crosses, and over-the-top action, blending humor and intrigue in a style reminiscent of classic Bond films. The collection includes issues #1-6 of the original series, written by Robert Rodi with art by various contributors.
In "Fox and Hound," Angela confronts her father’s legacy as he urges her to inherit E.V.I.L., while Devlin sends his enigmatic ally Anita to uncover secrets about the mysterious Go-Go—whose claimed lineage ties him to the legendary Italian anarchist Sra. Fiasco. As tensions explode, Celeste tracks Devlin to his Los Angeles stronghold, leading to a violent clash where family loyalties are tested. Written by Robert Rodi and illustrated by Louis Small Jr., with inks by Mark Farmer, colors by Moose Baumann, and letters by Jack Morelli, this issue’s cover by Joe Chiodo captures the storm brewing beneath the surface.

Angela is introduced to her father, who wants her to consider his point of view and, in time, take over E.V.I.L. after he's gone. Meanwhile Devlin orders his associate, sexy Anita, to find out about Go-Go. All she learns is that he claims to be the son of the famous Italian anarchist Sra. Fiasco. Celeste learns of what Devlin's done and leads Wilbur and her men to Devlin's L.A. stronghold. A huge fight ensues and finally mom & dad are screaming at each other. Angela, who really hasn't decided what to do, tells them she's her own person. They order her to choose either GOOD or EVIL.
