Classic X-Men #21

May 1988 · Marvel · 1.00 USD; 1.25 CAD; 0.50 GBP
“Visions of Death!”

In "Visions of Death!", the X-Men face off against the monstrous Sauron, only to see him revert to his human form, Karl Lykos—whose past holds a darker secret. With Ka-Zar arriving to reveal a forgotten tale of Zaladane and the ancient Garokk, the team is caught between duty and danger as the Savage Land itself begins to shift in terrifying ways. Written by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, with art by Byrne and Kieron Dwyer, and a striking cover by Arthur Adams, this 1988 classic captures the X-Men at a turning point, trapped in a world on the brink.
