Dynamite's 2013 continuation of the classic Battlestar Galactica saga reaches its third issue, and Alex Ross delivers a cover that feels like a lost movie poster from the original era — warm, painterly, and full of energy. Center stage, a young warrior raises his laser pistol while two women flank him, all framed against dramatic laser crossfire and the looming silhouette of the Galactica herself cutting through a star-filled sky; off to the side, a young boy and a small furry daggit companion round out the scene with a touch of heart.
