Dynamite Entertainment brings the classic Colonial fleet back to comics pages with this 2013 launch, featuring a sweeping Alex Ross cover that captures the full scope of the original series. Ross assembles a montage of the human heroes — their faces rendered in warm, golden tones against a star-filled backdrop — while a pair of menacing Cylon Centurions advance in the foreground, weapons raised, as Viper fighters streak through the space battle above. With Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning at the helm and interior art by Cesar Razek, this feels like exactly the right creative team to give these characters the grand treatment they deserve.
