Written by Paul Jenkins and illustrated by Steve Lieber, with colors by June Chung and letters by VC's Randy Gentile, the issue captures a raw, transformative moment—Robbie, now willing to register under the Superhuman Registration Act, is released from prison. He burns his old uniform and dons a new one, its spiked design inflicting constant pain, marking his painful evolution into Penance.
