“One Chili Too Many!”

Marvel's favorite red-headed scene-stealer gets into some colorful department-store mischief in Chili #12, cover-penciled by Stan Goldberg and inked by Sol Brodsky. The cover drops us right into a hobby department, where Chili — flashing her signature grin — has apparently decided that a certain bespectacled young man is the most interesting item in the store, quipping "You have YOUR hobbies… I have mine!" while a flustered older woman clutches a clay set nearby and a stylishly dressed companion looks on. It's a breezy, witty snapshot of early-1970s Marvel humor comics at their most charming.
