Champions #9

The whole Champions crew assembles on this Humberto Ramos cover — Amadeus Cho's Hulk grinning wide at center, flanked by Ms. Marvel crouching in front, Cyclops and Nova to the left, Miles Morales' Spider-Man behind them, and a green-haired, glowing-eyed young woman (hinting at the story's title question, "Who is the Red Locust?") standing apart on the right. It's a confident, relaxed team portrait that captures the youthful energy Mark Waid and Ramos bring to Marvel's next generation of heroes. If you've been following this series in 2017, issue #9 looks like a great moment to meet a new face alongside familiar favorites.
