Champions #19

Billed as "the first issue of an exciting new era," Champions #19 kicks off "Northern Lights Part 1" with a cover by Stefano Caselli that puts the whole energetic roster front and center — Iron Man charging ahead with repulsor blazing, Ms. Marvel and the Hulk surging alongside him, Viv Vision and Wasp (Nadia) in the thick of the action, with Miles Morales's Spider-Man web-slinging above and Nova rocketing in from the right. Writer Jim Zub teams with artist Sean Izaakse and colorist Marcio Menyz to carry the series forward under the rallying cry "Because the World Still Needs Heroes!" — and judging by this assembled lineup, there's no shortage of enthusiasm for the job.
