“The Men Who Lost Their Memories!”

In "The Men Who Lost Their Memories!", the Challengers of the Unknown race against a bizarre alien scheme that turns Earth’s natural forces into weapons—mole-creatures, sea monsters, and sky-trapping flyers all working in tandem to dismantle the planet. Written by Ed Herron and illustrated by Bob Brown, with inks by Wally Wood and Bob Brown, the story unfolds with eerie precision as the team confronts the impossible, only to outwit the invaders with a clever ruse. The cover, also by Bob Brown, captures the surreal menace of the threat.

The Challengers stumble upon an alien plot to dismantle the Earth. A mole-creature will slice the Earth apart. A sea monster will hold back the seas. A flying creature will trap the air, and pie-shaped slices of Earth will be stolen by a robotic ship! Ace jets to the ship and finds it's on autopilot, run by robots for a long-dead race. The Challengers attack the creatures without success, until they inflate huge balloons that simulate the creatures dying. The robots abort the mission as a failure and depart.
