Villo has recalled his latest threat against the Challengers, the Sub-Humans, before they kill his arch-enemies, when he is contacted by Bubble-Master, who wants to prove himself a worthy ally against the Challs. After a test heist, Villo accepts Bubble-Master as his partner, but before long they have a falling out and Bubble-Master leaves Villo to be captured by the Challs. Brainex releases the Sub-Humans again, and while the Challs are distracted, Bubble-Man frees Villo. Prof uses a computer to defeat the Sub-Humans, but the trio of villains remain free to hatch their next plan.
