“La Naissance de Dr Strange”

"La Naissance de Dr Strange" in Etranges Aventures #22 (1971) delivers a wild, surreal twist on the classic superhero origin, blending cosmic mystery with the series’ signature absurdity. Written by Ed Herron and illustrated by Bob Brown, with inks by the same, the story unfolds with a bizarre, dreamlike energy that feels both timeless and uniquely French. The cover, by Carlos Prunés, captures the surreal tone perfectly—perfect for a 2,50 FRF comic from 1971.
