Written by Peter J. Tomasi with art by Max Raynor, the story follows the Super Sons as they are abducted by the alien Jor-El and thrust into a perilous adventure across time and space.
In "Doom on the Horizon," Peter J. Tomasi and Evan Stanley deliver a pulse-pounding time-travel twist as Vandal Savage and Felix Faust trap Superboy and Robin in the sixteenth century, probing their memories of the Justice League to ensure future victory. With Aurora stepping in to create a diversion, the young heroes must find a way to escape across time before their enemies rewrite the future. The issue's dynamic art by Evan Stanley, with colors by Luis Guerrero and letters by Rob Leigh, brings the clash of eras to life, while Jorge Jiménez’s cover captures the stakes in bold, striking detail.
In "Gotta Get Back in Time," Jo and Jonathan find themselves racing against the clock when a mysterious minotaur attacks Wonder Woman—only to be pulled into a time rift that strands them in the past. Now, face to face with the ancient villains Faust and Savage, the Super Sons must outthink their enemies before history itself unravels.
In "Little Wonders," Jo and the Super Sons journey through time to the 1500s, where they battle a monstrous threat alongside Aurora before returning to the present. Their mission to quietly aid other heroes takes a sudden turn when they rush to save Hawkgirl from poison gas—only to realize Vandal Savage has followed them back to the modern era.
In "Savage Fate," Jo and the Super Sons face a chilling mystery when Vandal Savage disappears mid-battle, leaving behind a cryptic warning from the Doom Scroll: Cyborg is next. With time running out, Robin devises a bold plan, plunging them into a high-stakes virtual reality to rescue Cyborg before the prophecy unfolds.
In "What's Kraken?", Superboy and Robin team up to rescue Aquaman from a monstrous death kraken, only to discover through the Doom Scroll that their own lives are now in peril—leaving them racing against time to survive the next threat.
In "Like Clockwork," Superboy and Robin find themselves trapped in the sixteenth century by Vandal Savage and Felix Faust, who are mining their memories of the Justice League to ensure future victory. With time running out, Aurora steps in with a daring plan, using a clever distraction to give the boys their only chance to escape back to their own era.
In "Death to the Doom Scroll!", Jo and the Super Sons face a dangerous threat when Felix Faust and Vandal Savage track them to the present, seeking revenge for past humiliations—just as the Justice League arrives to turn the tide.
