“Like Clockwork”

In "Like Clockwork," Peter J. Tomasi and Evan Stanley deliver a pulse-pounding time-travel twist as Vandal Savage and Felix Faust trap Superboy and Robin in the sixteenth century, using their memories of the Justice League to plan a future victory. With Aurora’s clever distraction, the young heroes must race against time to escape their ancient prison and return to their own era—before the villains’ long game unfolds. Simone Di Meo’s dynamic cover captures the stakes perfectly.

Back in the sixteenth century, Vandal Savage and Felix Faust have captured Superboy and Robin, scanning their memories of the Justice League so that the villains will eventually be able to defeat the League in the twenty-first century. Aurora tries a trick to free the boys, creating enough of a distraction for them to escape to their own time.
