DC's 1993 street-level series kicks off with a cover by Dave Johnson and Karl Story that drops you straight into a firefight — three masked, heavily armed figures unleash a storm of gunfire, spent casings raining down as muzzle flashes and tracer lines cut across the composition in every direction.
