Cartoon Network Starring #17

A Western-flavored outing for everyone's favorite muscle-bound mama's boy — Johnny Bravo hits the frontier in issue #17, decked out in cowboy gear and crouching down to gleefully snag a horseshoe off the dusty ground, declaring his luck is about to change. Behind him, a dark horse looks entirely unimpressed, while a cowgirl watches from the fence in the background, and a tiny sheep quietly mutters "baa" in the corner — teasing the sneak preview of The All-New Adventures of Sheep in the Big City also tucked inside. Dave Schwartz's cover pencils and inks perfectly capture the show's breezy humor, and with Paul Kupperberg writing and Gary Terry on art, this 2001 DC/Cartoon Network gem delivers a rootin'-tootin' good time.
