Captain Midnight #12
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHigh above a patchwork landscape, Captain Midnight — in his signature red flight suit — clashes mid-air with a menacing, dark-haired figure in flowing green robes who levels a gun directly at him, all while military aircraft streak across a yellow sky overhead. The banner across the bottom announces the story as "Captain Midnight vs. The Sinister Angels," promising the kind of aerial intrigue Fawcett delivered so well in 1943. At 68 pages for a dime, this September issue packs in serious adventure for fans of the sky-hero at his most daring.

One night, as Captain Albright flies solo in his special P-38 he has invented, he sees a series of floating houses in the air, followed by a Nazi named Zauer who shoots him down. Eventually, he captures Midnight, ties him to a block of limestone, and drops him into water 100-feet deep in a quarry.
