Captain Britain and MI13 #9
In "Hell Comes to Birmingham Conclusion," Captain Britain and MI13 face their final stand against Plokta’s nightmare invasion, as Sid’s trap ensnares most of the team in a labyrinth of endless Dream Corridors. With time running out, Pete and Alistaire race to free Brian and find a way back to Earth, but not without sacrifice—especially when a desperate choice leaves Meggan behind, unsure if she’s real or illusion. Written by Paul Cornell and brought to life by Leonard Kirk, Mike Collins, and a stellar team of inks, colors, and letters, this pivotal issue delivers a tense, emotionally charged climax to the arc, with Stuart Immonen’s striking cover capturing the chaos.

Sid has trapped most of MI13 in one of Plokta's infinite Dream Corridors, leaving the demon free to create an army of Mindless Ones bent on taking over the world. Pete uses Dane's fake Ebony Blade to slice through the dimensions and return to earth. Alistaire uses a captured Mindless One to reach Brian who has been trapped in a separate Dream Corridor. They also find a doorway back to earth but, thinking she is merely an illusion, Cap leaves Meggan behind. Cap stops Plokta by imprisoning him in the trap Alistaire created for the Mindless Ones. Sid is arrested for treason.
