Captain Britain #4

In "The First Doom!", Captain Britain teams up with a mysterious ally from the past as the events of November 10, 1965, unfold beneath the shadow of the Statue of Liberty. When the ESP Division is wiped out on Bedloe Island, a desperate Fury calls on Captain Britain to stop an alien invasion led by an army wielding an "Id-Paralyzer" designed to enslave the East Coast. With the clock ticking, Captain Britain races toward the Baxter Building, only to lose control mid-flight when the anti-grav belt he seized from the invaders fails—while Fury, overwhelmed by enemy forces, is thrown from the torch.
