In "Ravage of Ronthor," Captain Atom is sent to a long-abandoned alien world after a mysterious distress signal draws Earth's attention. There, he discovers a planet once home to a civilization so advanced it grew weary of its own perfection—leaving behind only silent ruins and a haunting message about the cost of complacency. With no weapons but his own ingenuity, he devises a way to cleanse the planet of a creeping, invasive insect life before returning to Earth.

In "Poetry of Peril!", Jo finds herself trapped in a realm of shifting shadows, where memories of her mother’s death and her desperate escape from the shadow dimension flicker like fading verses. As Nightshade, she must summon both courage and cunning to break free and prevent the Image from driving her father to betray his principles.
