Captain America: Hail Hydra #3

The third chapter of this 2011 five-part limited series unites three of Marvel's heavy hitters on a striking Adi Granov cover: Captain America crouches in the foreground with his shield at the ready, Black Panther stands poised at his side, and the Falcon spreads his great wings above them both against a storm-darkened sky. It's a composed, almost cinematic image — three allies bracing against whatever Hydra has in store. Writer Jonathan Maberry and artist Phil Winslade continue their saga inside, with colors by Chris Chuckry keeping the tension alive.
