The Serpent Society captures the dead body of Modok for AIM. Porcupine is trying to sell his costume to get out of the super villain life but his only taker is Captain America. Cap pretends to be captured by Porcupine to flush out the Serpent Society and, during the ensuing battle, Porcupine falls on one of his own quills and dies.
