“The Death of the Dream Part Five”

In "The Death of the Dream Part Five," the stakes rise as Sin and her Serpent Squad free Crossbones from a S.H.I.E.L.D. subcarrier, leaving Director Tony Stark scrambling to uncover how the breach happened. With Black Widow hunting the Winter Soldier, Sharon Carter and the Falcon tracking the Red Skull, and a psychic battle raging in Aleksander Lukin’s mind, the lines between enemy and ally blur—especially when the Winter Soldier uncovers a truth about Lukin and the Red Skull that changes everything. Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Steve Epting, with inks by Mike Perkins and colors by Frank D'Armata, the cover by Steve Epting captures the tension in sharp, haunting detail.
