With help from Bernie and Jack, Sam Wilson directs them to Nick Fury, who outfits Jack as Nomad and sends him and Dum Dum Dugan on a mission to Illinois to rescue Cap—only to find their hero now under Viper’s mind control. Written by J. M. DeMatteis and brought to life by Mike Zeck’s dynamic art and John Beatty’s inks, this 1983 thriller blends psychological tension with high-stakes action, all under the cover by Mike Zeck and John Beatty.
