Candy #34

Candy deals with two separate romantic misadventures. In the first story, Candy becomes entangled with Will Bragg, a professional bullfighter, after meeting him at a picnic; when he proves to be arrogant and demanding, she and her friends manage to humiliate him and end the relationship. In the second story, Candy pursues a wealthy man she believes to be a millionaire at a Hartwick horse racing event, only to discover he is actually J.P. Pulmotof, a car starter, leading to comic confusion. A third brief segment follows Candy on an outing to a skating pond where she flirts with a taxi driver named Humphry, attempting to make him jealous with another boy.
