The main story "Candy" follows the popular and intelligent titular teenage girl as she navigates social situations with her peers. When Candy is asked to a jump-fest dance by a boy named Jitters who complains she cannot dance, she recruits her friend Ted to help her practice by playing records. After Ted accidentally breaks records and creates a chaotic jam session with the girls, the group must deal with the mishap and prepare for the upcoming dance event.
