Igor Kordey's cover for this November 2001 issue sets an immediately tense mood — Cable crouches deep within a dense jungle, his white hair and glowing eye cutting through an expanse of rich green foliage as he holds a weapon at the ready. The two-tone palette of black and green gives the whole scene a shadowy, stalking quality that suits a soldier who's always on someone else's radar. With David Tischman writing and Kordey on full art duties for "The Path of Most Resistance," this late chapter in Cable's original run delivers the kind of grim, purposeful atmosphere the series does so well.
