Chapter four of "Past Fears" arrives in grand fashion with Daniel Warren Johnson's cover depicting Cable himself at the bottom of a multi-tiered industrial corridor, unloading his massive firearm into a churning mass of serpentine white tendrils while flames tear across the ground around him. Across the upper levels, a team of fighters — including a wild-haired warrior and a figure radiating fiery energy — battles the same writhing threat from every angle, giving the whole image a wonderfully chaotic, everyone's-in-over-their-heads energy. Zac Thompson, Lonnie Nadler, Germán Peralta, and Jesus Aburtov deliver the interior of this 2018 Marvel series, and if this cover is any indication, the stakes in "Past Fears" are running very high indeed.
