Cable fires both pistols into a fiery explosion overhead while strange pale tendrils coil around him from below — Daniel Warren Johnson's cover crackles with grim, kinetic energy. A second figure in blue-and-gold X-Men gear pushes forward at Cable's side, weapon blazing, as a smaller inset image of Cable looms in the upper corner. "Past Fears Chapter 3" promises the third installment of a tense arc, with Zac Thompson, Lonnie Nadler, and Germán Peralta delivering what looks like a fight stretched across harrowing, otherworldly terrain.
